Frequently Asked Questions
What materials do you offer?
We supply quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite slabs, along with kitchen and bathroom sinks, for residential and commercial projects.
What’s the difference between quartz and natural stone?
Quartz is an engineered surface with consistent color and pattern, while natural stone (like granite or marble) is quarried and each slab is unique. The right choice depends on your project, style, and usage.
Will the slab I receive look exactly like the photos online?
Photos are representative only. Natural stone varies in color, veining, and movement from slab to slab. Quartz is more consistent, but slight variations can still occur.
Do stone countertops need sealing?
Some natural stones benefit from sealing to reduce absorption. Quartz does not require sealing. Sealing needs depend on the specific material and finish
Can your products be used outdoors?
Some materials are suitable for outdoor use, while others are not. Please contact us to confirm if a specific product works for your application.
Do you offer samples?
Samples may be available for select products. Availability varies by material.
How do I clean my countertop daily?
Use warm water and a mild dish soap with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse and dry to avoid residue or streaking.
What cleaning products should I avoid?
Avoid abrasive pads, acidic cleaners, bleach, ammonia, and harsh chemicals. These can damage the surface or dull the finish over time.
Will my countertop stain?
Quartz is non-porous and highly stain resistant. Natural stone can absorb liquids if spills are left too long, especially oils or acidic substances.
Is the surface heat resistant?
Stone surfaces are heat resistant, but sudden or extreme heat can cause damage. Always use trivets or heat pads under hot pots and pans.
Can the surface chip or crack?
Stone is strong but not indestructible. Heavy impact, especially on edges or corners, can cause chipping or cracking.
Will the surface change over time?
With proper care, stone maintains its appearance for many years. Natural stone may develop subtle character over time, which is part of its appeal.
Prolonged direct sunlight may affect certain materials, especially engineered surfaces. Indoor use is recommended unless confirmed otherwise.
Natural stone is formed in nature. Variations in veining, color, and pattern are normal and expected.
